All about married

#CASE 1
Getting married is like going to a restaurant with friends. You order what you want, then when you see what the other fellow has, you wish you had ordered that.
#CASE 2
At the cocktail party, one woman said to another, "Aren't you wearing your wedding ring on the wrong finger??" The other replied, "Yes, I am. I married the wrong man."
#CASE 3
Before a man is married, he is incomplete. Then when he is married, he is finished.
#CASE 4
Marriage is an institution in which a man losses his bachelor's degree and the woman gets her master's status.
#CASE 5
A little boy asked his father, "Daddy, how much does it cost to get married??" And the father replied, "I don't know son, I'm
still paying for it."
#CASE 6
Young son : "Is it true, Dad, I heard that in some parts of Africa, a man doesn't know his wife until he marries her?"
Dad : "That happens in most countries son."
#CASE 7
Then there was a man who said, "I never knew what real happiness was until I got married, and then it was too late."
#CASE 8
A happy marriage is a matter of give and take; the husband gives and the wife takes
#CASE 9
When a newly married man looks happy, we know why. But when a ten-year married man looks happy, we wonder why. Affair ?
#CASE 10
In the first year of marriage, the man speaks and the woman listens. In the second year, the woman speaks and the man listens. In the third year, they both speak and the neighbors listen.
#CASE 11
After a quarrel, a wife said to her husband, "You know, I was a fool when I married you." And the Husband replied, "Yes, dear, but I was in love and didn't notice it."
#CASE 12
A man inserted an 'ad' in the classified : "Wife wanted". The next day, he received hundreds letters. They all said the same thing "You can have mine."
#CASE 13
When a man opens the door of his car for his wife, you can be sure of one thing : either the car is new or his wife is new.
#CASE 14
A woman was telling her friend : "It is I who made my husband a millionaire. "
"And what was he before you married him?" the friend asked. The woman replied, "A Billionaire. "

conversation between Doctor and Patient

A dialogue between two friends regarding prayers
Saim: Good morning Waseem.
Waseem: Good morning Saim. Where are you going?
S: I'm going to mosque to offer my prayers. It is morning prayer time. What about you?
W: I am going to garden for a morning walk.
S: Don't you offer you prayers?
W: I do sometimes but not regularly.
S: It is very bad. Man must offer his prayers regularly. You know man finds real peace and comfort only in prayers.
W: I know but it is just laziness.
S: I always prefer prayer. I offer my prayers five times a day. If I miss my prayers, I get disturbed.
W: That is a good thing. I will also try.
S: You must make up your mind to offer your prayers. If a person shuns his prayers accidentally on purpose, it is a great sin.
W: If someone is busy at prayer time then?
S: He should stop his business and offer his prayers.
W: You are right.
S: When man offers his prayers, his life improves. he lives neat and clean life. Everybody respect him.
W: From today, I will also offer my prayers five times a day.
S: That's very good. We are getting late. Let's go and offer our prayer first.
W: Let's go.

Conversation about Happy Order-Dependendance Day

(A patient wants to reschedule their appointment. Since she’s said she’s unavailable at every time I’ve given her, I suggest she let me know when she’s available.)

Patient: “How about July 4th? I could come in at 1:00.”

Me: “Well, we’re closed for the holiday.”

Patient: “What holiday? There’s no holiday then!

(Before I can answer, she figures it out.)

Patient: “Oh…wait. July 4th must be the 4th of July!”

How Well Do You Know Your Shit

Hello guys, today I would like to share about textures of our poop. Well, maybe you will think it's disgusting, but it's important to know. Let me tell you.

1. Separate hard lumps, like nuts
You're lacking fibre And fluids. Drink             more water and chomp on some fruits.         and veggie.
2. Sausage-shaped but lumpy
Not as seriuos as separate hard lumps,           but you need to load up on fluids and             fibre.
3. Sausage-shaped but with cracks on                 surface
This is normal, but the cracks mean you       could still up your intake of water.
4. Sausage-shaped, smooth and soft
    Optimal poop!  You're doing fine!
5. Soft blobs with clear-cut edges
Not too bad. Pretty normal. If you're               pooping multiple times a day.
6. Fluffy pieces with ragged edges, a mushy     stool
It means you're on the edge of normal.           This type of people is on its way to                   becoming diarrhoea.
7. Watery, no solid pieces, all loquid
You're having diarrhoea! This is probably     cause by some sort of infection and                 diarrhoea is your body's way of cleaning       it out.
8. Soft and sticks to the side of the toilet             bow!
Presence of too much oil, which could           mean that your body isn't absorbing the       fats properly. Diseases like chronic                 pancreatitis prevent your body from             properly absorbing fat.

Okay!  What do you think guys?  Have you still felt it is disgusting?  After you know you would take care of your body with all food which you eats everyday. I hope it will change our paternal to a healthy life. Thanks for reading...♥

Lyric of Every Little Bit to Love by Jamie Grace

She's never been too popular
She's never been an outsider
She's about as average as they come
Her family they ain't too strange
They even get along most days
There's nothing too crazy going on
But sometimes she wonders
If she's good enough
Well girl if you're listening, listening
Turn it up You're lovely, every bit of lovely
Don't you know that you're God's original work of art, yes you are
So don't ever let them tell you that you're less than wonderful
Cause you're a one and only
You're every little bit, every little bit of lovely
Have you seen a lightning storm?
And have you heard the oceans roar?
Have you seen a newborn baby smile?
Well, the same God who made all that
He's the one who made your crazy laugh
And every tiny quirk that makes you, you
So if you wonder if you're good enough
I know you're listening, yeah you're listening, so turn it up
You're lovely, every bit of lovely
Don't you know that you're God's original work of art, yes you are
So don't ever let them tell you that you're less than wonderful
Cause you're a one and only
You're every little bit, every little bit of lovely
This goes out to all my lovely girls
Y'all be shining like diamonds all around the world
From the west coast over to the east side
Up north to the dirty south where I reside
Them magazines telling you who to be
Rocking them too tight tees, please, There's no need
To be so revealing, no matter what you're feeling
It's the beauty inside that's gonna last You're lovely, every bit of lovely
Don't you know that you're God's original work of art, yes you are
So don't ever let them tell you that you're less than wonderful
Cause you're a one and only
Yeah, You're every little bit, every little bit of lovely
So don't ever let them tell you that you're less than wonderful
You're a one and only
Yeah you're every little bit, every little bit
Don't you know it girl, don't you hear me girl, don't you see it girl
Don't you know it girl, don't you hear me girl, don't you see it girl

CHINESE DRAGON AND CRYPTOZOOLOGY

For example, Jiao Lung or Crocodile Dragon. This is not the kind of horned dragons and is referred to as the leader of the water’s animals. Based on it’s name, there is indeed a possibility if this type of Dragon was a crocodile. The mention of this parallel with a Komodo Dragon named Dragon is to show a giant reptile creatures called Komodo. This name clearly show that Chinese Dragon doesn’t necessarily mean flying creature like snake body, horned, clawed and mumble.
Another example is Pan Lung or Spiral Dragon. This type of Dragon dwells on the Lake and can not go up into the sky to become spiritual beings. This type of Dragon could be a reference to a similar water snake creatures or eel. An example is Oarfish (who lived in the sea) which has characteristics quite unique so people often compare it with Chinese Dragon.
There’s a possibility that a similar creature sightings Oarfish in Chinese lake have considered the appearance of Dragon. Then, there’s Fei Lung of The Dragon Fly. It has wings and a dragon who riding clouds and fog. Interestingly, this name is also used to describe the Pterosaurus in Mandarin. Fei Lung is probably the same type of Dragons in Europe.

Four Kinds Of Dragon Nd The Myth

FOUR KINDS OF DRAGON AND THE MYTH
In Chinese literature, at least, found more than 100 names of different dragons. However, to simply, Chinese Dragon is normally only classified into four types, namely :
Tien Lung or Sky dragon which guarded the gods’ palace.
Shen Lung or Spiritual Dragon who has power over wind and rain.
Ti Lung or Earth Dragon who ruling over the water on the surface of the earth.
Fucang Lung or Underworld of the Earth Dragon that is in charge of guarding the treasure that exists in it.
Four types of Dragons are probably smelling spiritual, but as I said above, there are still about 100 other dragons’ name.

THE CHARACTERISTICS OF DRAGON AND THE MYTH

The characteristics of the Dragon and number 9 in Chinese mythology, the Dragon has a very close connection with the number “9”. For example, the Chinese Dragon has 9 characteristic that is a combination of other beings.
1. It has a head like a camel
2. It scales like a fish
3. It horns like a deer
4. It eyes like a stealth
5. It ears like a bull
6. It neck like a snake
7. It stomach like oysters
The soles of it feet like a tiger
And it talons like an eagle
In addition, the 9 characteristics of Dragon in Chinese mythology called has 9 children who also have different characteristics. It also has 117 scales. 81 of them have positive characters (Yang) and 36 others have negative characters (Yin).
Generally, the Chinese Dragon has three or four claws on each foot. But the Chinese Government uses the symbol with five claws to indicate if the Emperor isn’t ordinary Dragon. It later became the exclusive symbol which should only be used by the emperor. Anyone who dared to use the symbol of Dragon with five claws will be death soon.

Myth and Qualities of The Dragon

Before the beginning of time-- at the time before creation--the dragon (Lung or Long) is identified as one of the four primary benevolent spiritual animals, the symbol of all things male as was the sun. The second was the phoenix (feng), the symbol of all things female. The final 2 were the unicorn and the tortoise. After the creation of man, Tien Ti, the Emperor of Heaven, observed the wickedness of man and sent a flood which covered most of the land. Yu, a younger god, took pity and asked for man’s forgiveness. With Tien Ti’s permission Yu descended to earth with a giant black tortoise carrying magic soil to absorb the flood and an emerald scaled dragon whose wings he used to sculpt the land. For thirty years, he traveled the earth scattering the soil and using the dragon’s tail to carve out the steppes, mountains, rivers and valleys of China.
QUALITIES OF THE DRAGON

1. Greatest power was that of transformation. The dragon could become a human, animal or bird, but always retained the nature of a dragon.
2. Dragons is associated with Wisdom-- conferring great blessings on those they favored.
3. Revered and feared because he is most often associated with the weather and is also known as the “rain master” His eyes flashed lightening, wings caused the wind, his breath the rain. The dry season occurred when he was hibernating in the water which was his natural element. Every river and lake in China boasted its own dragon.
4. Dragons took thousands of years to achieve full growth. They mated in the form of snakes, laid eggs near a river or lake. The eggs were huge and round, like beautiful stones or jewels, and often required a millennium to hatch. Lightening and thunder accompanied the hatching. An additional 1500 years were required to achieve full size; 500 more for the horns and another millennium for the wings, though the dragon could fly without them (a fun math problem!).
5. The dragon was the symbol of the Emperor of China (Supreme ruler of all of China who rules by the Mandate of Heaven. The Emperor was supposed to have dragon’s blood in his veins. All of his possessions were given the name of dragon: Dragon Throne, Dragon Robe, Dragon Boat, Dragon Bed, etc. Only the royal dragon had five claws. All others had three or four. It was a crime punishable by death for anyone but the Emperor to possess a dragon with five claws.
6. Dragon is associated with the seasons, He ascended into the sky in the spring to make rain for the crops and returned to his underwater palace in the fall. A farming people, the Chinese peasants prayed to the dragon for good harvests, banging gongs to awaken him in the spring. They brought him offerings and small images in clay.
7. Dragon kingdom is divided into four departments ruled over by the Dragon King: Celestial Dragons (Tien-lung) who guarded and supported the heavens, Spiritual Dragons (Shen-lung) who controlled rain and wind and fed man, Earth Dragons (Ti-lung) who directed the course of rivers and streams safely toward the sea and Subterranean Dragons (Fut’s-lung) who guarded the treasures of the earth, gems, jade, gold. Each dragon type had four categories. probably associated with growth and age: serpentine, clawed, horned and winged.
8. Dragons came in many colors also associated with their powers: Azure dragons were associated with spring, red and black were ferocious, representing storms in clouds, and yellow dragons were the greatest, like the sun, elusive, august and solitary. Types and colors of dragons might make an excellent classification exercise.
9. One legend identified the dragon’s favorite food as swallows, so much so, in fact, that persons who have had swallow for dinner are advised not to cross a bridge or go near water lest the dragon scent swallow on the eater’s breath and gobble him alive. Dragons are easily frightened by the centipede (often poisonous in China) or by a piece of silk dyed with five colors.
10. Dragons came to be associated with all things relating to the Emperor, with two holidays-- the Dragon Boat Festival and Chinese New Year. It is one of the 12 signs of the Chinese Zodiac--the year 2000 is the Year of the Dragon.

10 Benefits of Listening to Music

Who doesn’t love music? Certainly there are some of us, but for the most part music is a big part of our lives. Whether it’s the music that we listen to on the way to work, while we workout, or the music we hear in a symphony or film, it can bring up our moods, tell us a story or even bring us down. Music has touched cultures all over the world since very early times in human history. Have you ever wondered how music might affect our health?

Music is capable of a number of health benefits including lowering stress levels, raising states of consciousness, changing moods, accessing different states of mind, developing the brain and is useful in meditation -which has a ton of health benefits.

Effective therapy for pain
Listening to music can reduce chronic pain from a range of painful conditions, including osteoarthritis, disc problems and rheumatoid arthritis, by up to 21% and depression by up to 25%, according to a paper in the latest UK-based Journal of Advanced Nursing. Music therapy is increasingly used in hospitals to reduce the need for medication during childbirth, to decrease postoperative pain and complement the use of anesthesia during surgery.

Reducing blood pressure
By playing recordings of relaxing music every morning and evening, people with high blood pressure can train themselves to lower their blood pressure - and keep it low. According to research reported at the American Society of Hypertension meeting in New Orleans, listening to just 30 minutes of classical, Celtic or raga music every day may significantly reduce high blood pressure.

Medicine for the heart
Music is good for your heart. Research shows that it is musical tempo, rather than style. Italian and British researchers32 recruited young men and women, half of whom were trained musicians. The participants slipped on head phones and listened to six styles of music, including rap and classical pieces, with random two-minute pauses. As the participants kicked back and listened, the researchers monitored their breathing, heart rates and blood pressure. The participants had faster heart and breathing rates when they listened to lively music.  When the musical slowed, so did their heart and breathing rates. Some results were surprising. During the musical pauses, heart and breathing rates normalized or reached more optimal levels. Whether or not a person liked the style of music did not matter. The tempo, or pace, of the music had the greatest effect on relaxation.

Speeds Post-Stroke Recovery
A daily dose of one's favorite pop melodies, classical music or jazz can speed recovery from debilitating strokes, according to the latest research. When stroke patients in Finland listened to music for a couple of hours each day, verbal memory and attention span improved significantly compared to patients who received no musical stimulation, or who listened only to stories read out loud, the study reports.

5- Chronic headaches & migraine remedy
Music can help migraine and chronic headache sufferers reduce the intensity, frequency, and duration of the headaches.

6- Music boosts immunity
Music can boost the immune function. Scientists explain that a particular type of music can create a positive and profound emotional experience, which leads to secretion of immune-boosting hormones. This helps contribute to a reduction in the factors responsible for illness. Listening to music or singing can also decrease levels of stress-related hormone cortisol. Higher levels of cortisol can lead to a decreased immune response.

Music enhances intelligence, learning and IQ
The idea that music makes you smarter received considerable attention from scientists and the media. Listening to music or playing an instrument can actually make you learn better. And research confirms this.

Music improves memory performance
The power of music to affect memory is quite intriguing. Mozart's music and baroque music, with a 60 beats per minute beat pattern, activates the left and right brain. The simultaneous left and right brain action maximizes learning and retention of information. The information being studied activates the left brain while the music activates the right brain. Also, activities which engage both sides of the brain at the same time, such as playing an instrument or singing, cause the brain to be more capable of processing information.

Music improves concentration and attention
Easy listening music or relaxing classics improves the duration and intensity of concentration in all age groups and ability levels. It's not clear what type of music is better, or what kind of musical structure is necessary to help, but many studies have shown significant effects.

Music improves body movement and coordination
Music reduces muscle tension and improves body movement and coordination. Music may play an important role in developing, maintaining and restoring physical functioning in the rehabilitation of persons with movement disorders.

“The evidence suggests that music interventions may be useful as a complementary treatment to people with cancer,” Joke Bradt.

Zongzi

Zongzi (or simply zong) (Chinese: 粽子) is a traditional Chinese food, made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo, reed, or other large flat leaves. They are cooked by steaming or boiling. In the Western world, they are also known as rice dumplings or sticky rice dumplings.

Names
Burmese (who call it Pya Htote), Cambodians (nom chang), Laotians and Thais, (Bachang) have also assimilated this dish by borrowing it from the local overseas Chinese minorities in their respective nations. In Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia, they are known as bakcang, bacang, or zang (Chinese: 肉粽; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: bah-chàng), a loanword from Hokkien, a Chinese dialect commonly used among Indonesian-Chinese, rather than Mandarin. Along the same lines, zongzi is more popularly known as machang among Chinese Filipinos in the Philippines.

Origins
Zongzi (sticky rice dumplings) are traditionally eaten during the Duanwu Festival (Mandarin: Duānwǔ; Cantonese: Tuen Ng), which falls on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar (approximately late-May to mid-June).

A popular belief amongst the Chinese of eating zongzi involved commemorating the death of Qu Yuan, a famous Chinese poet from the kingdom of Chu who lived during the Warring States period. Known for his patriotism, Qu Yuan tried unsuccessfully to warn his king and countrymen against the expansionism of their Qin neighbors. When the Qin general Bai Qi took Yingdu, the Chu capital, in 278 BC, Qu Yuan's grief was so intense that he drowned himself in the Miluo river after penning the Lament for Ying. According to legend, packets of rice were thrown into the river to prevent the fish from eating the poet's body.

Although it may have originally been a seasonal food, zongzi are available year-round in most major cities with a significant Chinese population.

Description
The shapes of zongzi range from being approximately tetrahedral in northern China to an elongated cone in southern China. Wrapping a zongzi neatly is a skill that is passed down through families, as are the recipes. Making zongzi is traditionally a family event of which everyone helps out.

While traditional zongzi are wrapped in bamboo leaves, the leaves of lotus, maize, banana, canna, shell ginger and pandan leaves sometimes are used as substitutes in other countries. Each kind of leaf imparts its own unique smell and flavor to the rice.

The fillings used for zongzi vary from region to region, but the rice used is almost always glutinous rice (also called "sticky rice" or "sweet rice"). Depending on the region, the rice may be lightly precooked by stir-frying or soaked in water before using. In the north, fillings are mostly red bean paste and tapioca or taro. Northern style zongzi tend to be sweet and dessert-like. Southern-style zongzi, however, tend to be more savory. Fillings of Southern-style zongzi include salted duck egg, pork belly, taro, shredded pork or chicken, Chinese sausage, pork fat, and shiitake mushrooms.

Zongzi need to be steamed or boiled for several hours depending on how the rice is made prior to being added, along with the fillings. However, as the modes of zongzi styles have traveled and become mixed, today one can find all kinds of zongzi at traditional markets, and their types are not confined to which side of the Yellow River they originated from.

Ingredients :

Zongzi both ready to eat (left) and still wrapped in a bamboo leaf (right)
Mung beans, split and dehulled
Red bean paste
Jujubes
Char siu (Chinese barbecued pork)
Chinese sausage
Salted pork fat
Chinese black mushrooms
Salted duck eggs
Chestnuts
Cooked peanuts
Conpoy (dried scallops)
Red-cooked pork
Chicken

Thats all about zongzi or bakcang. If you want to try it, you can find it on May. Have a good meal. Thanks for reading

A little boy wanted to meet God.

He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with cookies and six cans of lemonade and he started his journey. When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman.

She was sitting in the park just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his lemonade when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her a cookie.

She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a lemonade. Again, she smiled at him.

The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word. As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave, but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug.

She gave him her biggest smile ever.

When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him What did you do today that made you so happy?

He replied, I had lunch with God. But before his mother could respond, he added, You know what? Shes got the most beautiful smile Ive ever seen!

Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home.

Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy? She replied, I ate cookies in the park with God.

However, before her son responded, she added, You know, hes much younger than I expected.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.

Embrace all equally!

The Duck and The Devil

How often do you let the sins you’ve committed control your life? Does that lie you told spin out of control, spawning more and more lies, just to hide the first? That’s the Devil at work. He knows your shame and he manipulates you into greater and greater sin. But you need not live in shame of your sins. Confess them to God and find salvation from them.
Read this excellent parable of the horrible way one sin can take control of our lives.

The Duck and the Devil
There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm. He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods. He practiced in the woods, but he could never hit the target. Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner. As he was walking back he saw Grandma’s pet duck.

Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head, and killed it. He was shocked and grieved.

In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile, only to see his sister watching! Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing.

After lunch the next day Grandma said, “Sally, let’s wash the dishes.” But Sally said, “Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen. Then she whispered to him, “Remember the duck?” So Johnny did the dishes.

Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and Grandma said, “I’m sorry but I need Sally to help make supper.” Sally just smiled and said,” Well that’s all right because Johnny told me he wanted to help.” She whispered again, “Remember the duck?” So Sally went fishing and Johnny stayed to help!

After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally’s… he finally couldn’t stand it any longer.

He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed the duck. Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug, and said, “Sweetheart, I know.

You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing, but because I love you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you would let Sally make a slave of you.”

This story can be compared to everything we’ve done wrong in the past whether it’s lying, cheating, stealing or any other sin. God already knows we did it, so we should confess to him instead of becoming a slave to Satan.

Conversation between Cat and Dog

In a very busy avenue, we see a cat running which is so amazing because behind him is his own worst enemy, the dog. The cat tries to escape in every possible way he can but ends up trapped in a dead end.

Cat: What the hell! You don't need to keep this up, do you?

Dog: Actually, no I don't

Cat: Well then, bite me or kill me but just lets get this over with

Dog: This is too easy, its no fun

Cat: Are you a sadist?

Dog: Ye I like to play with my kill before I kill it

Cat: Play what?

Dog: Play “catch me if you can” - I count to ten and you run away and then I try to catch you

Cat: I can run seven times because I have seven lives

Narrator: Behold, like a flash the dog decides to push the cat further against the wall leaving him more trapped than he already was

Dog: are you afraid of me, you are getting paler

Cat: Of course I am, look at the size of you and look at the size of me!

Dog: But you still don't know why I am following you

Cat: For sport, for a game, because you're bored?

Dog: No, none of the above

Cat: So why are you running after me?

Dog: Just to tell you there is milk in your bowl

Cat: What! You ran a whole block just to tell me this? You could have given me a heart attack! I only had a pace maker put in last week

Dog: well I just wanted to help you!

Cat: and why this sudden act of kindness?

Dog:Well I took some milk from your bowl, is there any harm in that?

Cat: What kind of milk did you take? Full fat or skimmed?

Dog: Skimmed

Cat: Then you better start running because my Masters will stand anything except someone stealing their skimmed milk

The dog and the cat always find reasons to fight, just like the politician and the voter can always find something to disagree over. Now in this case its just a matter of deciding who is the dog and who is the cat.

Myth of Kelam Hill

Kalimantan always present the beautiful object for visited. Located in Sintang, Kalimantan Barat, Kelam Hill is 520 ha. Kelam Hill located between Melawi River and Kapuas River. Kelam hill has beautiful scenery and fresh air. Because of that, it became one of the most object tourism. Cheaper Tour or travelling and just for fun. It can be an educational facility in teaching us to care our healthy environment. Through eco-tourism or nature based tourism we may realize how important a healthy fresh air and good weather are.
Bukit Kelam Eco Park is one of the options of eco-tourism object with its uniqueness and great scenery. Bukit  Kelam is one of the exotic natural objects in Sintang, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. Behind the charm and exotic of this tenebrous? Kelam hill, there is a pretty interesting legend which says that it used to be a seacoast tenebrous.

Once upon a time in Sintang, there were two leaders who were highly power. But, both of them had contrast characteristics. The first man named Sebeji or well-known as Bujang Beji. He had a very bad temper and greedy. On the contrary, the other man, Tumenggung Marubai, was a kind person. Both of these men were a fishermen, although off and on they also worked as farmers.
Bujang Beji and his followers handled the river in Simpang Kapuas, while Tumenggung Marubai held the other one in Simpang Melawi. Tumenggung Marubai trapped fishes in Simpang Melawi river using bubu (fishs trap) so that the fishes in that river would never be extinct. When Bujang Beji knew it, He was jealous of Tumenggung Marubai. So that he went to Simpang Kapuas river to trap fishes through menuba (catching fish by poisoning the river). He did not realize that catching fish on this way made all of the fishes in the river were in danger. All of the fishes would be gone and its number would decrease day by day.
When he found that number of the fishes in his river was decreasing, Bujang Beji became more and more jealous. Then, he tried to blocked the water which was flowing to Simpang Melawi River by putting big stones in hulu Simpang Melawi River. So all of the fishes could not swim to that river and he hoped the fish would return to hilir Simpang Kapuas River.
Bujang Beji decided to take the peak of Bukit Batu in Nanga Silat, Kapuas Hulu. With his power, he took the peak of those great stone hill. Because of Bukit Batu was very far from Sungai Melawi, he tied the peak of the hill with seven pieces of ilalang leaves. On his way to Sungai Melawi, Bujang Beji heard a woman laughing at him. That woman was an angel. When he was looking at the angel, he stepped on a tomb, and the leaves which were tied the hills peak was broken. The peak then fell and sank in a place named Jetak. He tried to take the peak back, but he failed.
Bujang Beji was very angry to the angel who made him fail to take the peak to Simpang Kapuas. Then he plant a tree named Kumpang Bambu to reach the heaven, where the angle was. Before he climbed it, he made a little ceremony of Sesajian Bedarak Begelak by feeding all of animals and devil around him. But, there were animals which did not get the sesajen: Bear and rayap.
These animals were angry because they thaught that Bujang Beji was unfair. So they tried to make Bujang Beji fail in his way to go to the heaven. The tree was fell and hit the hulu of Kapuas River. Bujang Beji, who was climbing the tree, also fell and dead. Finally, Bujang Beji failed to revenge to the angel. Tumenggung Marubai also saved from his evil plan.
Then, on the other side, the peak of the stone hill which was taken from Nanga Silat by Bujang Beji returned into Bukit Kelam. And the long hill which was he used to re-took the peak from Jantak returned into Bukit Liut. The place where Bujang Beji step on thom was name Bukit Rentap.
There it is, the legend of Bukit Kelam, a folklore from West Kalimantan, Indonesia. This legend has at least, two moral values. First, the impact of being bad temper and full of jealousness. And the second value is how important discussing and sharing are in order to get the best decision. Through this story we can learn not to be like Bujang Beji who had a very bad temper. His characteristics is not able to be followed in our life.

The Legend of Landak River

Today I would like ti share about myth or folkore from West Kalimantan. The one of famous folklore is The Legend of Landak River. Landak River is the biggest river at Landak Regency, in Ngabang, West Kalimantan. There lived a lot of Dayak (Ahe) ethnic. Let me tell you all....

Long time ago, lived a farmer and his wife in a village seam a forest. They lived simply and they like to help other people, especially one who in afflictions. One night, the farmer and his wife were resting in their house. The farmer was sitting beside his sleeping wife. Suddenly, a white centipede came out from the wifes head. The farmer was amazed. He then followed the centipede until they reach a small pond not far from their house. Then the centipede suddenly disappeared. The farmer went home and found his wife still soundly asleep.

In the morning, the wife told his husband about the dream she had last night. I was walking through a vast field, and I came to a lake. I saw a giant hedgehog in the lake. It was glaring at me, so I ran away. After he heard his wifes dream, the farmer went back to the small pond. In the pond, he saw something very shiny. He came to the shiny object and took it. It was a golden hedgehog statue. It was very beautiful. Its eyes were made of diamond. The farmer then brought the statue home.

At night, the farmer had a dream. A giant hedgehog came to him, Please let me stay in your home. As return, I will give you everything you want. Just caress the statues head and say the prayer. There are two kinds of prayers, one is to start your wish and the second is to stop your wish. Now memorize the prayers.

In the next day, the farmer told his wife about his dream. They really wanted to prove it. The farmer slowly caressed the statue's head. He said the prayer and asked for rice. Suddenly, rice came out of the mouth of the statue. The rice kept on coming out from the statue's mouth. The farmer immediately said the prayer to stop it. The rice then stopped coming out from the statue.

The farmer and his wife then asked for other things, jewelry and other stuff they needed. They became very rich. But they still like to help other people. A lot of poor came to them for help. Unfortunately, a thief found out about the secret of the golden hedgehog statue. Pretending to be a poor asking for help, he stole the statue from the farmers house.

The thief blurred to the district area of Ngabang. There was a drought in the area. The thief wanted sympathy from the people, so he said to them that he would provide them with water. The thief then caressed the hedgehog statue and said the prayer. Water came out of the statues mouth. All the people were so happy. But the water kept on coming out. The thief didnt know the prayer to stop the wish. People who saw the incident were really scared. They ran away to avoid the water as it was started to flood the area. The thief also wanted to run away, but he cannot move his legs. In his vision, there was a giant hedgehog holding both his legs. Water kept coming from the statue and slowly it became a river. The thief was drowned in the river. People then named the river as Hedgehog River or Sungai Landak.

God's Message to Us

This post is about GOD'S message to us.. read it carefully..

When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When I created man, I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils.

But you woman, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life into man because your nostrils are too delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to come over him so I could patiently and perfectly fashion you.

Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with the creativity. From one bone I fashioned you. I chose the bone that protects man’s life.

I chose the rib, which protects his heart and lungs and supports him, as you are meant to do. Around this one bone I shaped you. I modeled you. I created you perfectly and beautifully.

Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet delicate and fragile. You provide protection for the most delicate organ in man, his heart.

His heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the breath of life. The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart. Support man as the rib cage supports the body.

You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken from his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side, to stand beside him and be held close to his side.

You are my perfect angel. You are my beautiful little girl. You have grown to be a splendid woman of excellence, and my eyes fill when I see the virtue in your heart. Your eyes – don’t change them. Your lips – how lovely when they part in prayer. Your nose so perfect in form your hands so gentle to touch. I’ve caressed your face in your deepest sleep; I’ve held your heart close to mine.

Of all that lives and breathes, you are the most like me. Adam walked with me in the cool of the day and yet he was lonely. He could not see me or touch me. He could only feel me. So everything I wanted Adam to share and experience with me, I fashioned in you: my holiness, my strength, my purity, my love, my protection and support. You are special because you are the extension of me.

Man represents my image – woman, my emotions. Together, you represent totality of God. So man – treat woman well. Love her, respect her, for she is fragile. In hurting her, you hurt me.

What you do to her, you do to me. In crushing her, you only damage your own heart, the heart of your Father and the heart of her Father.

Woman, support man. In humility, show him the power of emotion I have given you. In gentle quietness show your strength. In love, show him that you are the rib that protects his inner self.

What Makes A Dad?

What Makes a Dad
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle’s flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it..........Dad

It's poem about Dad. Love your Dad and tell him Happy Father's Day♥

Simple........... Put The Glass Down

A Professor began his class by holding up a glass with some water in it. He held it up for all to see and asked the students, “How much do you think this glass weighs?”

“50g!” ….”100g!” ….. “125g!” … the students answered.

“I really don’t know unless I weigh it,” said the professor, “but, my question is: What would happen if I held it up like this for a few minutes?”

“Nothing” … the students said.

“Okay what would happen if I held it up like this for an hour?” the professor asked.

“Your arm would begin to ache,” said one of the student.

“You’re right, now what would happen if I held it for a day?”

“Your arm could go numb, you might have severe muscle stress and paralysis and have to go to hospital for sure!” ventured another student and all the students laughed …

“Very good, But during all this, did the weight of the glass change?” asked the professor.

“No” was the answer.

“Then what caused the arm ache and the muscle stress?”

The students were puzzled.

“What should I do now to come out of pain?” asked professor again.

“Put the glass down!” said one of the students.

“Exactly!” said the professor.

Life’s problems are something like this. Hold it for a few minutes in your head and they seem OK.

Think of them for a long time and they begin to ache.

Hold it even longer and they begin to paralyze you.

You will not be able to do anything.

It’s important to think of the challenges or problems in your life, but even more important is to

“PUT THEM DOWN” at the end of every day before you go to sleep.

That way, you are not stressed, you wake up every day fresh and strong and can handle any issue, any challenge that comes your way!

So, when your day ends today, remember my friends to …

Just put the glass down…

Mito Superhero G

Gavin Lawrey’s rare illness often takes his energy, making it difficult for him to do all the activities he loves. But his sister, Makenzie, sees him as a superhero.

Gavin has mitochondrial disease, which in short is called mito, a condition that can damage cells in the body’s major organs and lead to muscle weakness and cardiac or liver disease.
When Makenzie learned the extent of her brother’s sickness and the fact that research for a cure is underfunded, she decided she had to do something about it

The 9-year-old girl sat down and wrote “Mighty Mito Superhero,” a book that explains Gavin’s disease and the trials he goes through every day. She hopes to raise awareness about her brother’s condition and to also raise $1 million to help find a cure. The book tells the story of how Gavin becomes his alter-ego, a superhero named Mito Action G. Mito Action G’s powers allow him to cure kids’ seizures and defeat the villain, Mito.

Makenzie has already sold 500 books and has raised $20,000. She plans to continue pushing forward until she reaches her goal.

What The Bible Says About Friends

“Is any pleasure on earth as great as a circle of Christian friends by a good fire?” – C.S. Lewis

What does the Bible say about friendship? The Bible gives us guidance on how to pick friends, how to treat friends and who is the greatest friend. Read through these seven verses about friendship to inspire you today.

Proverbs 13:20 Walk with the wise and become wise,  for a companion of fools suffers harm.

Proverbs 22:24-25 Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person,  do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared.

1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.

Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

Luke 6:31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.

Greatest Friend is God

James 4:8  Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Count Your Blessings, Not Your Problems Because You Are Special

A speaker started off a seminar holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, “Who would like this $20 bill?” Some hands rose up in the air. “I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this.” He began to crumple up the $20 dollar bill. He then asked, “Well, who still wants it…?” Still the hands were up in the air. “Well,” he replied, “What if I do this?” And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. “Now, who still wants it?”
Still the hands went into the air. “My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We may feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you. The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE. You are special-Don’t EVER forget it.” Count your blessings, not your problems.
Well guys, this simple story tell us about how worth we are. We are special, no other copy. So, don't ever compared yourself with other people. ツ♥

A SIMPLE WAY TO EARN MONEY

Hello good people, today I would like to share about my experience to earn my own money. Let’s read it…

Imagine how much money that you have spent every day, week, or month ? As a student we still depend on our parents to give us money (monthly money). So, what do you do with those money ? Pay for the school’s administrations ? Yes. Maybe buy your daily food ? Yes. Pay for the boarding home, for some students who live far from their family, like me. What else ? Probably, sometimes we use the money for buy clothes, accessories, and to go to barbershop or console to make us look more stylish as a student, or go to the cinema to watch some movies because as a student we need refreshing, aren’t we ? In fact, there are so many things that we have bought or paid everyday, even the things are not what we need but we want. But, have you ever thought about how hard your parents’ struggle to earn some money for you ? Have you ever thought to help them for earn your own money ? They will exactly proud with you if you could earn your own money without having to disrupt your school’s activities.

Well, it’s so simple and helpful. You only need some friends to build your own business. For instance, like me. I’m a seller. I sell some clothes, pants or trousers, accessories, and so on online. I don’t need financial capital. I only need friends as my lovely customer and some supplier and most importantly this activities never interfere my school’s activities. So, as a student I can earn my own money to help my parents’ burden. I also saved half of them to my better future or maybe for something urgent and unpredictable situations.

Can you imagine ? You can also do the same thing like what I had done. It’s simple, helpful and it wouldn’t bother your school’s activities. Be an autonomous. You are mature enough to earn your own money. Your parents will proud with you. So, start thinking about what business that you will run ? I guarantee you will get a better life, future and also learn to be an autonomous from the business that you’re going through.

Signs of Climate Change

More energetic weather
Once such example is happening, which is the solar storm that has been taking place yesterday and today. There is a lot of new energy coming into us and I ever heard something as literal as the energy coming directly from the sun.

Increasing drought
A drought is an extended period of dry weather caused by a lack of rain or snow. As temperatutes rise due to evaporates from land and water, leaving less water behind. Some places are getting more rain or snow to make up for it, but other places are getting less.

How Greenhouse Gases Cause Climate Change

Most of the sun's heat hits the Earth and escapes back into space. Some is trapped by the atmosphere and warms the Earth.
Fossil flues (coal, gasoline) are burned and carbon dioxide is released. Released carbon dioxide and other gases are called greenhouse gas emissions.
Greenhouse gases make the atmosphere thicker. As the sun's heat hits the Earth, more and more of the heat is trapped and warms the Earth. As carbon dioxide increases, so does the temperature. This shows that there is a link between carbon dioxide and temperature. This condition is evidence that climate change is caused by humans.

Can we adapt to these changes? Save our world from now. REMEMBER every action has reaction. Do the right things for our world.

Me and God

Hello good people, now I would like to share about a conversation .. Hope that would make us learned about something in our life..

God : Hello. Did you call me?

Me: Called you? No.. who is this?

God : This is GOD. I heard your prayers. So I thought I will chat.

Me: I do pray. Just makes me feel good. I am actually busy now. I am in the midst of something.

God : What are you busy at? Ants are busy too.

Me: Don't know. But I cant find free time. Life has become hectic. It's rush hour all the time.

God : Sure. Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you results. Activity consumes time. Productivity frees it.

Me: I understand. But I still can't figure out. By the way, I was not expecting YOU to buzz me on instant messaging chat.

God : Well I wanted to resolve your! fight for time, by giving you some clarity. In this net era, I wanted to reach you through the medium you are comfortable with.

Me: Tell me, why has life become complicated now?

God : Stop analyzing life. Just live it. Analysis is what makes it complicated.

Me: why are we then constantly unhappy?

God : Your today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. You are worrying because you are analyzing. Worrying has become your habit. That's why you are not happy.

Me: But how can we not worry when there is so much uncertainty?

God : Uncertainty is inevitable, but worrying is optional.

Me: But then, there is so much pain due to uncertainty. .

God : Pain is inevitable able, but suffering is optional.

Me: If suffering is optional, why do good people always suffer?

God : Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don't suffer. With that experience their life become better not bitter.

Me: You mean to say such experience is useful?

God : Yes. In every terms, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons afterwards.

Me: But still, why should we go through such tests? Why cant we be free from problems?

God : Problems are Purposeful Roadblocks Offering Beneficial Lessons (to) Enhance Mental Strength. Inner strength comes from struggle and endurance, not when you! are free from problems.

Me: Frankly in the midst of so many problems, we don't know where we are heading..

God : If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Looking outside, you dream. Looking inside, you awaken. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides insight.

Me: Sometimes not succeeding fast seems to hurt more than moving in the right direction. What should I do?

God : Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you. Knowing the road ahead is more satisfying than knowing you rode ahead. You work with the compass. Let others work with the clock.

Me: In tough times, how do you stay motivated?

God : Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.

Me: What surprises you about people?

God : when they suffer they ask, "why me?" When they prosper, they never ask "Why me" Everyone wishes to have truth on their side, but few want to be on the side of the truth.

Me: Sometimes I ask, who am I, why am I here. I cant get the answer.

God : Seek not to find who you are, but to determine who you want to be. Stop looking for a purpose as to why you are here. Create it. Life is not a process of discovery but a process of creation.

Me: How can I get the best out of life?

God : Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.

Me: One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.

God : There are no unanswered prayers. At times the answer is NO.

Me: Thank you for this wonderful chat.

God : Well. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Don't believe your doubts and doubt your beliefs. Life is a mystery to solve not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that took our breath away!

God and Woman

What if we have it all wrong? What if God never intended for us to be beautiful?I mean, where did our notions of being beautiful even come from in the first place?Maybe our Creator never really intended for us as women to express our beauty and feel good about our appearances.

And what I mean by beautiful is not just inner beauty but also our outer appearance, our physical beauty. In all our efforts to make ourselves look and feel more beautiful, maybe the truth is that we just weren’t designed to be attractive! That’s when my imagination took over. And in my mind’s eye, one brave woman decided to ask God about it and learn the truth once and for all.

Here’s how I imagine that conversation going:

Woman: Ugh! Look at me. I look awful. God, will I ever be attractive?

God: No, dear, I’m sorry to tell you that you are just not designed to be attractive. Your hips are too big, you are too fat and you have numerous flaws in your physical features—which you have done a great job identifying, by the way. Oh, and one more thing: you will probably start looking old when you hit about 35!

Woman: OK, wow. I had it all wrong, God! Here I thought that someday I would actually be beautiful. But thanks for letting me know once and for all how this whole appearance thing really works.

God: You’re welcome. Glad I could help sort it out for you.

Woman: Now I can just settle in to that belief and not let it distract me anymore. I can now accept that I will always be unattractive and full of physical flaws. I was always trying to make myself look better before, but now I can really move on with my life.

God: Yup! Sorry about that. I guess you just can’t have it all!

Woman: Thanks, God.

Or, Maybe We’re the Ones Who Haven’t Been Able to See the Truth About Our Beauty

I’m pretty sure you’d agree with me just how absurd that first conversation would be!

That’s why I imagined a different scenario. And this time it wasn’t fiction.

Instead, this second conversation actually represents my own experience and any woman’s experience after discovering the truth about her true Type of beauty:

Me: Hi God, apparently I’ve made a mistake! For most of my life I believed I wasn’t beautiful.

God: Yes, I am aware of that. I’ve been trying to show you otherwise for all those years. I’m glad you can finally see it now.

Me: Sorry I wasn’t paying attention! It’s just that most women have this belief that they are flawed and I just wanted to fit in.

God: I understand. It is popular to think that. But hey, could you help me out? Could you help other women see this truth about their beauty? Could you help them understand that I only know how to create beauty?

Me: Yes! Now that I see the truth of my own beauty, I’m also able to see the beauty in other women, and I want to help more women discover this truth about themselves, too! It’s amazing! I can’t believe I couldn’t see it before. Thanks for your patience, God, and for making me—and all women—so beautiful.

God: My pleasure!

Me: Thank you so much. I’m so glad I can accept this truth about myself now and get on with my life using the wonderful gifts and talents you have blessed me with to make a difference in my life and others. It’s wonderful.

Which of these two conversations are you having?

Now, I know that first conversation is a bit dramatic. But I wanted to point out how ridiculous it is when we as women hold a belief or think that we aren’t beautiful.

Consider for a moment that God only creates beauty. And that includes you!

Because the truth is, either we were created with our beauty intact or we weren’t.

The choice is up to you.

Are you ready to discover the truth about your beauty?

God is My Everything

Hello good people,
Here is something new, when I am bored I should talk to God because He is my friend right? I just realized how much that could keep me away from temptation. Because one of the many things that causes us to be vulnerable to temptation is being bored; so stop what you are doing right now just because you're bored and start talking to God! Or read the Bible, or even listen to Christian music! And I am sure that you will learn something useful in those precious moments that you spent with God. Ok so here is the conversation between God and me:

me: Hello my Lord, I hope you don't mind that i am talking to you because I am bored :/

God: No, I don't mind at all, I'm happy you came to talk!

me: I love you lord.

God: I love you too my child.

me: You know me, You made me, and You know how messy my mind gets. I'm trying to organize my thoughts, but it's hard. Well you know how many questions I have in my mind about so many things.

God: Just Listen.

me: I will start right now. I'm listening...
Why am I bored?

God: Because you are not doing anything. Resting does not mean do nothing, or goof off; you could read the Bible and rest at the same time! You could pray, you could do your favorite thing and talk to me!

me: But you should be my favorite thing... I'm sorry Lord.

God: That's right, that is why you should always talk to me, not only when you're bored. You could talk to me even when you're doing something. Doesn't the scripture in Paul say: "You should always be in a state of prayer"?

me: Help me Lord to always remember that.

God: I will my dear.

me: Well I just learned to let God do the talking, I listen, and ask when I have a question, and give God the time to answer my question. Thank you Lord for helping me!
Give my heart peace O Lord. It feels as if it's in a battle and it's not helping me with the listening.

God: Just relax and think of the good things, heaven, the beautiful things I created, your daughter and how she loves you...

me: When I think of heaven Lord, I think of the dream that you gave to me, in your temple. Is that how heaven is Lord?

God: You are not ought to know yet.

me: That place had some sorrow Lord and some people wanted to leave you. I ask why then I think I know the answer; because they were bored of being with you, they wanted to leave, and then I ask why again.

God: Because they enjoy the life of sin and they think that the life of righteousness is boring.

me: What is the main difference between the life of sin and the life of righteousness?

God: The life of sin is evil, selfish, Immoral, does all things that pleases IT.
The life of righteousness is calm, praises God all time, selfless, and does all things that pleases God not itself, rejoices in all things that pleases God.

me: And why do they get bored of the life of righteousness, it sounds pleasant and peaceful? this has always been a dilemma for me.

God: Not all people enjoy peaceful lives. Some like troubles and adventures, and with those comes sin.

me: this does not make any sense to me! why would somebody want trouble in their life? Or even more, why would they not want peace in their life? Besides, following you Lord Jesus is a life that has its own hardships and adventures; if they want hardships and adventures, why won't they choose those that lead them into an eternal life?

God: You will fully understand when you pass through your own hardships.
When those people pass through the hardships that come for the sake of following me, they do not think of depending on me, but they depend on their own understanding thus they think if God is not here for me for the hardships that He sets for me and He give me hardships, why should I follow Him; I will go and make my own hardships; at least I know I created them, and I can and will live through them.
Moreover, people enjoy immoral things, like sex and drugs, and deceiving others to get what they want this that is called shrewdness; and the life of righteousness is far off from all these things.
It is mentioned in the book of revelations that in the end days or tribulation people will not be able to buy food unless they have the mark of the beast, and those who do not have the mark will go hungry unless they depend on me.
Those people who choose not to follow me will not depend on me; instead, they will depend on their own understandings and because of that, they would think that if they did not take the mark they will starve to death. This goes the same for all things that they pass through in their life; because they do not choose me, nor depend on me their life will be miserable and it will end up for them by being in hades.
Now when it comes to not wanting peace, because they do not listen to me nor depend on me they do not get to know the life of peace that I would give to them if they do, so how would they want peace if they don't know what peace is?

me: Does that mean that I will pass through hardships too Lord?

God: Yes, you will, but do not worry because I will always be there for you and with you.

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things. (Philippians 4:8)

Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth (Colossians 3: 2)

It rains on the just and the unjust alike, so be ready for upcoming hardships, prepare your mind and soul with the word of God.

me: Amen.

An Atheist Professor and His Students Conversation

An Atheist Professor of Philosophy speaks to his class on the problem Science has with God, The Almighty.

He asks one of his new students to stand and.....

Prof: So you believe in God?
Student: Absolutely, sir.

Prof: Is God good?
Student: Sure.

Prof: Is God all-powerful?
Student: Yes.

Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal
him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God
didn't.
How is this God good then? Hmm?

(Student is silent.)

Prof: You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fellow. Is
God good?
Student: Yes.

Prof: Is Satan good?
Student: No.

Prof: Where does Satan come from?
Student: From...God...

Prof: That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student: Yes.

Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything.
Correct?
Student: Yes.

Prof: So who created evil?

Student does not answer.

Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these
terrible things exist in the world, don't they?
Student: Yes, sir.

Prof: So, who created them?

Student has no answer.

Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe
the world around you. Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?
Student: No, sir.

Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
Student: No, sir.

Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God?
Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?
Student: No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.

Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student: Yes.

Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol,
science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student: Nothing. I only have my faith.

Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.

Student: Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Prof: Yes.

Student: And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof: Yes.

Student: No sir. There isn't.

(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat,
mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold.

Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the
absence of it.

(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as
darkness?

Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?

Student: You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of
something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light,
flashing light....But if you have no light constantly, you have
nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness
isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker,
wouldn't you?

Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?

Student: Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?

Student: Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.

To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.

Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student: Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize
where the argument is going.)

Student: Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?

(The class is in uproar.)

Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the
Professor's brain?

(The class breaks out into laughter.)

Student: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's
brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so.
So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable,
demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir.

With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)

Prof: I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.

Student: That is it sir... The link between man and God is FAITH . That is all that keeps things moving and alive.

This student was none other than Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the Ex-President of India.

I thought this was a pretty good discussion and on an extremely philosophical standpoint, perhaps more than so any other discussion or article you may ever read.

I agree, people that love science are perhaps obsessed with the concept of duality!
