JUVENILE DELINQUENCY : UNLUCKY SEPTEMBER FOR AQ. J

            Did you remember what happen on last September ? Especially for The Indonesian Young Rock Star. Alright ! It was about the cars accident that killed seven people by Ahmad Dhani's son, Abdul Qadir . J or recently calls AQ J or Dul. He was driving at 176 km per hour on the Jagorawi toll road between Bogor and Jakarta at 1:45 a.m on September 8. He was losing control and breaking the toll road divider and hitting cars on the opposite roadway that killed seven people at once. According to the law, driver under the age of 17th could be charge for underage driving and reckless driving. By law, that was punishable with six years imprisonment. Dul could only be charge with half of the maximum jail term as regulated in Article 26 of The Criminal Code. Dul might face an increased jail term if the police charged him with underage driving and driving without a license. In this case we couldn't blame him entirely. It was depend on some factors, for instance the important role of parents.
            Parents should be held responsible for crimes committed by their children. Those in favor of these parental responsibility. I think AQ J's parents were wrong to let him drove alone without license and in fact, he was 13th years old. Beside that, his parents should take care of him and teach him which the good and which the bad things for him. Don't give him things that he don't deserve to get, but tried to teach him about the law or orders of driving, traffic regulations, and some important values that stipulated in Indonesia. I believe that would be better than just gave him all that he wanted.
